“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.”
Luke 8 v11
Hello again, I pray you’ve all had a glorious week in the presence of the Lord. I want to talk to you today about our commisioning as people of God.
Do you know the parable of the seed sower, moreover do you know how we should apply this word to our lives today. Jesus spoke about where the seed fell i.e, who recieved it and how it impacted them. The seed is the word of God but who is the sower?
We are the sowers of the truth, the word of God. So why are we are picking and choosing where we sow the seed. We feel if a certain group of people will reject and laugh at what we have to say, we choose not to spread his word to them. Instead we stay within our comfort zone of the church walls or our friends and family.
We must remember the comissioning Jesus gave unto his dicsiples and more so unto us, he didn’t say go to this group or that group and preach. We are required to go to the four corners of the whole earth only then will the end come Matthew 24 v14, So the Kingdom of God can be glorified.
We must sow the seed of Truth to all people in all walks of life. Know matter how it it might be recieved, for the Lord will open the ears and hearts of the people to believe in him for faith is a gift from God.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2 v8-9
My prayer is that we all become sowers of his word always. Amen
